My love for jazz and soulful music was nurtured early through vinyl records inherited from my uncles—records that weren’t just albums, but lessons in feeling, storytelling, and musicianship. Those early influences stayed with me through my teenage years, when I began building my own collection, buying 45s and albums in high school and learning how music could shape moods, moments, and memories. Over time, that collection grew into a deep, diverse archive spanning jazz, soul, funk, blues, chill, and groove-based music—each record tied to a story, an era, or a personal moment.

That lifelong relationship with music and vinyl is the foundation of TheBocX. What started as a personal passion became a curated online radio station and platform dedicated to Current & Classic Vibes for Today’s Adults. TheBocX reflects decades of listening, collecting, and sharing—combining inherited vinyl wisdom, hands-on crate digging, and modern discovery into grown-folks listening experience.
